The following information is designed to help you better understand the interest rates associated with the Chase SelectSM Private Student Loan.

Chase SelectSM Private Student Loan

The Chase SelectSM Private Student Loan is based on the London Interbank Offered Rate (LIBOR). The LIBOR index is variable and adjusted quarterly.*

Chase SelectSM is a school-certified private student loan, which means it requires your school to verify the loan amount and certify that you are enrolled in that institution and that the loan is being used for qualified education expenses. Your school must participate in this loan program in order for you to be eligible to receive it.

*The "Variable Interest Rate" is equal to the current three-month London Interbank Offered Rate ("LIBOR") plus or minus a Margin. The Variable Rate may change based on the three-month LIBOR, which is updated each quarter (January, April, July and October) as published in The Wall Street Journal on the fifteenth day of the month preceding each calendar quarter, rounded to the nearest one-hundredth percent (0.01%). Any increase will result in either a higher payment amount or more payments by extending your term. Actual rate is subject to application review and creditworthiness of the borrower and cosigner, if applicable, and the school type.
